## Terms

Climate values are 25-year satellite and reanalysis averages on a coarse grid (about 50 km): they describe a region, not a particular roof or field. Estimates for solar yield, wind power and degree days are planning figures, not engineering design, forecasts or guarantees. Climate data are from NASA POWER; elevation values come from the USGS 3DEP Elevation Point Query Service (credit: U.S. Geological Survey).
